Landlady and I saw Harry Potter yesterday.

  • Jul. 17th, 2009 at 2:23 PM
Holy shit it was long but it was goood.

I cried at the end when you know who kicked the bucket, and so did the lady next to me. After it was over it took me a little bit to calm down because I just wanted to bawl for a long time after that. I think I cried more from the movie than I did with the book. I think that's because with the book I was spoiled about it a couple of days before it's released. I dunno.

My land lady never really saw the Harry Potter series so she asked for the popcorn. xD

Meh.

Had kind a shitty day yesterday and a bit last night, but I'm okay now I guess.

Also new Animal Crossing WW code since I restarted it: 5199-0500-8913
I've discovered I can make a lot of bells if I catch and sell bugs. It's fun donating them to the museum too.

So yeah got around to finishing Twilight.

It's okay. Not the OMG greatest, but it's okay. To be honest the whole *sparkle sparkle* was different than I thought it would be and was hugely exaggerated by people. XD

Don't seem interested enough to read the next three, so I read their plot summaries instead.

What I did all day.

Went to Red Robin for dinner since mom and I had birthday coupons which saved about $9-10 each. Banzai burger was yummy as always.

Got that Rotom Key off that Mystery Gift thing. Haven't tried the motors yet.

Gardenia is a fucking bitch but I eventually beat her after so many losses but at least it trained up my Starly/Staravia each time.

Be nice if NOA would update Ranch for Platinum compatibility so I can get the Mew faster but they're pretty slow on things. I have about 500ish Diamond Pokemon on there which includes 80+ Bidoof but they're cute to watch anyway.

Molar's having cold sensitivity so it's hard to enjoy my Arizona tea cold but I dunno.

Fuck allergies.

Grammatically incorrect sentence.

Within a couple of weeks...

Probably forgot one so I dunno.

6/21 - Lorena Gale
6/23 - Ed McMahon
6/25 - Farrah Fawcet
6/25 - Michael Jackson
6/27 - Gale Storm
6/28 - Billy Mays
6/29 - Fred Travalena

Pretty weird shit, huh?

Oh yeah I'm 25 now. Hurhur. Dad sent me $50 so I got Pokemon Platinum.

Or maybe it's just that I woke up too early.

  • Jun. 29th, 2009 at 11:34 AM
I suddenly feel like I'm going to have a bad day today.

Woooooah.

  • Jun. 28th, 2009 at 2:09 PM
Now Billy Mays is dead.

What the hell. O_o

Wow what a shitty week for celebs.

  • Jun. 25th, 2009 at 2:46 PM
Ed McMahon died

Farrah Fawcet died.

Now Michael Jackson is in the hospital for a cardiac arrest ded. :C

Attempting to read Twilight again.

  • Jun. 16th, 2009 at 4:11 PM
From what I've read in the first four chapters so far, Edward Cullen comes off as a real asshole.

Edited to fix the title, since I never really read through it fully the first time. xD

LOL I'm a hypocrite.

  • Jun. 1st, 2009 at 9:57 PM
I used to complain about the people who would stick level 1s and useless Pokemon on the GTS asking for legendaries.

I stuck a baby Bulbasaur on there to see if I could get a Palkia out of it. xD

Spent a weekend at the elderly care Gasseling House where mom works at. Didn't get much sleep but I did get to enjoy Dish Network and watched old shows and movies such as Blood and Chocolate (last hour or so, and nothing like the book), Underdog (surprisingly not bad.), Wall-E, the ending to 27 Dresses, the last hour or so of Made of Honor, Kung Fu Panda and Meet the Robinsons.

Mom and I shared the guest bed last night. Other than it being hot and the bed was so weirdly soft and hard in spots to the point where the comfortable spot was very close to the edge, mom snored. Loudly. I'm hoping that if I ever end up with someone and share a bed that he didn't snore and did that annoying mouth popping sound that you make when you breath out. >>

This morning I seen a stray puppy running along the orchard across the road. I just kind of let it be since I didn't know if the dog that lived at the elderly place would go outside after it or not. A couple hours later when I went to take the garbage out I noticed it lying on the middle of the road further down. I thought it might've been killed so when I went back inside and looked out again, I seen its head go up a couple of times when cars drove around it. Me and mom's friend who also works at the house went out to the road to check on it and sure enough it was still alive, but appeared to have been hit in the back legs because he couldn't move. A man in a white car stopped and mom's friend was able to call 911 and be referred to the sheriff's office to tell them about the puppy. Mom's friend tried to call animal control and even tried their emergency line, but there was no one there. A man in a motorcycle also stopped and carried the puppy into the ditch. Back at the house mom's friend called again and told them that the puppy was moved into the ditch.

We didn't think that a cop would ever come out and the puppy was just going to die in misery there, but eventually one did come out. I went back out to talk to him (he got stuck in the ditch as well) and what happened about the puppy. To be honest I thought it was a small adult pit when I seen it hours before, but it turned out to be a three month or older possibly lab mix. In the end since the puppy was in shock and was suffering so much the cop didn't have a choice but to shoot him, since police force don't carry any euthanazia related syringes on hand. Either way if he was taken to animal control or a vet he would've been immediately put down since he had no collar on him. I went back into the house before he did but I heard the popping sound right when I got into the door. Mom's friend was pretty upset about it when I told her that the cop shot the puppy, and she was pretty pissed off already that someone would just leave him lying there after hitting him.

Call it cruel if you want, but I don't think there could've been anything else done. In a way it was a quick death instead of a long one if nobody noticed that he was still alive lying in the middle of the road.

Also, when that cop got stuck in the ditch he called out his officer, and he ended up being stuck in the ditch too. Went mom and I left we drove by and asked if they needed any help getting out, but they said that they have a tower coming out already to get them.

I think as far as the politics thing, I usually don't pay attention much and most of it confuses me. Also for what I vote for it depends on the issue since either side can have a pro and con (unlike my dad who is hardcore republican).

Also suffering from horrible allergies. Sneezing, dripping nose, the whole bit. Just waiting for the last dose of pills to wear off so I can take some benadryl and finally get some sleep.

Yes, I'm alive.

I'm running out of books to read, and my library is pretty slim on anthromorphic novels that I haven't already read. So I'm going to attempt reading Twilight again. I tried reading it back before the fanbase got super crazy, but I couldn't get past the first two chapters. It'll probably be a while before I get a copy since I'm on the library's waiting list for a hardback (I prefer them because paperbacks sometimes have small text and are pretty busted up).

To be honest I'm bored of the whole "Twilight sux/dosntsux!!!1!!1!" fad. It's kind of like ED, where you laugh at the articles and the people who whine and cry about having pages then after a while the interest dies down and it just isn't funny anymore. My 14 year old niece is a fan of the series, but thought the whole Edward Cullen craze was funny. I dunno, I guess if I got through Blood and Chocolate, which I guess is like Twilight for werewolves, I can get through this. xD

To change the subject, mom got a new job. She'll be working at the minimart for the rest of the week for her final check then starting Saturday she'll be working with a friend to help elderly people in this home. It's a much better pay than what she's getting right now and it will help her job caused tennis elbows to heal.
Even if the parties involved are way older than me.

Ugh.

(Not directly involved, but fuck. I hate conflict)

Aw man.

Also got my haircut today. About 11-12 inches in a ponytail will be donated to Locks of Love.

But its pokeymanz.

I think one of the reasons I didn't care for dragoncave much was that I didn't like the idea of having to obsessively click it or ask for clicks just to keep the things alive.
